This newly emerging lyrical color was formed by the musical and cultural mixing of the above lyrical colors in the city of Aden at the beginning of the 20th century.
The artist Muhammad Murshid Naji says that the lyrics that emerged in Aden in the 1950s and the modern song of Adeni character in general (if we rule out songs that copied Egyptian melodies) are considered an extension of the development of the melodies of Lahj, Sana'a, Yafa and Hadhramout. Without these influences, Adeni melody is non-existent.
The artists of Aden were more diverse because of this cultural diversity. In addition to those influences, Egyptian and Indian music contributed to the production of this lyrical style. Its features most prominently emerged from the artists Muhammad Juma Khan, Salem Bamedhaf, Muhammad Murshid Naji, Ahmed bin Ahmed Qassem, Muhammad Saad Abdullah, Taha Farea, Muhammad Mohsen Atroush, Muhammad Abdu Zaidi, Iskandar Thabet, Fathia al-Saghira and Khalil Muhammad Khalil.
